This RARE pewter pub tankard was made for the Black Boy Pub in Halling, Kent. George Jessup operated the pub from 1881-1911 during which time this tankard/pitcher was produced inscribed with the pub details.  This quart sized pewter beer tankard has a pouring spout with large holed strainer. It has quart marking and unusual makers mark of a lion above a square cross.
