These Channel Letters are made of plastic allowing it to be durable, lightweight, and flexible for any type of wall to jut out on. It comes set with a stud mounting.
Plastic is the most common type of Channel Letters for its easy to do installation process. It is highly advised that if you are going to do the installation yourself, that you must drill holes at the positions the studs will be. Usually when placing the Letters' studs in, it is recommended to squeeze silicon in the drilled holes so that the Letters slide in and are supported in place.
