    Description

    A very large diameter steam/air gauge in remarkable condition for its age. Quincy Engine Works, Bourdon Steam Gauge pat'd March 24, 1903 in very very good condition. Made by the American Steam Gauge & Valve Manuf'g Company, Boston, Mass. Nickel plates brass face rim measures 9 13/16" dia. Cast iron back measures 10 3/8" Dia. The face on this 100 year old gage is almost perfect. The only marks are from gage hand rub, not age depreciation. Black cast iron back iron casting has been painted the same color as the wall it was mounted on, adding a nice patina to the piece. No breaks, cracks or repairs, the only thing I can see is one small dent on the rim (see photos) Nickel plate on rim is tarnished but intact, I have not cleaned this piece.
