A Salute to the American worker with this third and final collectible stein in the Working American Series.  This beautiful stein features three historic cover illustrations from "The Saturday Evening Post which are beautifully reproduced on the impressive 9 1/2" tall ceramic relief stein.
The covers highlighted on this final edition include:
May 12, 1945 by Stevan Dohanos ~ A house painter working around a family of birds
September 3, 1949 by George Hughes ~ A policeman stopping traffic at a school crosssing
June 26, 1954 by Stevan Dohanos ~ A fisherman cleaning his catc

A truly unique feature of this stein is the pewter, gear-shaped base. The lid, which includes a ceramic inlay, is also pewter and is designed in the shape of a gear. An unfurled flag and eagle design around the bottom complete this patriotic tribute to the American worker/  Handcrafted in detailed ceramic relief by Gerz of Germany, the stein is individually numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Includes original box (box has some wear).  Please see photos for actual item you will receive. There are no chips or cracks.  Lid opens and closes with ease. Item was displayed but never used for drinking. Includes original box, COA. This stein collection was my late grandfather's pride and joy.  Unfortunately, we no longer have the space to store the entirety of his vast collection.
