This Rebuild & Repair kit contains every following component on the CD V-700 PCB:
Capacitors, Transistors, Diodes, Rectifiers, Resistors and a Solid State Zener Diode Voltage Regulator.
The only components not included are the rotary switch, transformers, and the calibration potentiometers.
This kit comes with one of our custom 900V High Voltage Regulator Zener Diode Stack, specifically for the Lionel 6B. This is a modern Solid-State replacement for the Obsolete 1960's Corotron HV Tube.
All components included in this kit are produced by the top Global Semiconductor manufactures:  Kemet, TDK, On Semi, Motorola, Vishay, Nichicon, Yageo, Würth Elektronik & Stackpole.
The PNP Transistors are Russian manufactured, intended to withstand an EMP, electro-magnetic pulse, from a nuclear blast; these are better and more durable than our best 2N404 transistors, according to most Geiger gurus.
The PCB of the Zener Diode Stack is made of 0.062” thick, 180

, FR-4 Fiberglass-Epoxy Laminate, with double sided epoxy/acrylate LPI solder mask, the green coating.
All materials in this kit meet ROHS, the Reduction of Hazardous Materials Standard, that demands global compliance of materials that are safer for us and the environment.
While all this sounds cool, if you’re an electronics lover like us, but what it really says is that these components are made to higher standards than the OE requirements of the GC, perform optimally and made to last for decades in your Geiger counter.
These components are more durable, consistent & precise, as 55 years of semiconductor advancement has occurred, than the original ruggedized CD V-700s.
A Detailed 7-Page Instruction Manual ships with the kit,
but you will need to have the skills to test components, de-solder and replace them without damaging the board.
