  • Condition: This Vintage Reed Ratchet STOCK AND ADJUSTABLE DIES No. #AR1 1" to 2" comes on its Original REED Cardboard Box. It is an Adjustable Die Head Complete with 4 pair of Dies: 1"; 1-1/4"; 1-1/2" and 2". All the dies are in good condition with the exception of very small chips on the corners of the lead threads of the 1-1/2" and 2" dies. The ratcheting adjustable head is in very good condition and works perfectly. It includes the 4 follower inserts. The set is missing the handle, but it uses a length of 1" NPT threaded pipe. The heavy duty stapled cardboard box is in fair condition. The top has some tears and the cardboard on the rest of the box is frayed, scuffed and worn, but it is complete including the REED labels on each end. It appears that there may have been a label on the top of the box, but that has been worn off. The Die Head has "REED MFG CO ERIE PA No 3AR PATENTS PENDING" cast in raised lettering on the top of its head.
