    Description

    Good morning all. First up today is this interesting pair of vintage Weil 7QS Drop Forged 7" quick set adjustable pipe wrench pliers. Made in Japan, but of good quality, not cheap at all. These have a spring mechanism that keeps the jaws and handles open, so you don't have to manipulate them as you do with groove joint pliers. There are 5 different jaw positions. Changing them is easy, again, much easier than with groove joint pliers. Smooth (i.e. not knurled) handles. These are for lighter-duty jobs, use a pipe wrench to turn your iron pipe. These did have a life, so there is some wear on the jaws (last 2 pictures), but they have plenty of life left.
