Pleased to present this vintage Clairol Instant Hairsetter, KINDNESS 20.
Made in Denmark, 1968.
It was a Mother's Day gift....you can see the card at right in the first image!
I detailed everything. Outside of plastic housing was polished and finished off with a micro fiber towel.
Comes with all clips for the rollers. In fact Clairol provided one extra clip for each size.
Clips in original plastic zip lock bag, dated 1967.
Snap case to store cord perfectly flat; case has never been used.
Instruction brochure included. Warranty card, too.....outdated, of course.
Tested. All rollers eventually turned "black" to signal ready. I think it was about 9 minutes.
One large roller at end took longer. I would simply use the one next to it first, then switch over that end roller.
All rollers wiped/dried, as was the heat rod section.
Original cord is clean and pliable.
Comes in its box, which shows some wear....but...did a great job of protecting the unit.
One funny thing:
When I first bought this, there were two envelopes stashed inside box.
They were both letters from previous owner's divorce attorney, lol.
I tossed them.....
If you're in the market, this Kindness 20 would make a terrific choice.
