    Description

    This is a vintage medal embossed "Ministry of Public Health People's Republic of China".  Also has Chinese characters and medusa on front.  China scenes with Great Wall and writing on back.  From an estate.  Owner said her father received it because of academic/ public health work he did in China.  I cannot translate the Chinese characters in order to confirm that story.  Estimate from the 1960's????
    It is heavy bronze color metal, measures 2 1/4" across.  Blue velour case.
    Saw no damage to medal, case has wear.
