    Description

    Up for purchase is this very rare Vintage Pyrex PAT OFF Medical /  Laboratory Canister with a Glasco Chrome Lid.  The Pyrex label is etched / frosted glass and reads 'T.M. REC. PYREX U.S. PAT. OFF MADE IN U.S.A'.  There is also a blank etched / frosted blank label space under the label for writing in the contents of the canister.  The chrome lid is stamped 'GLASCO CHROME' next to the knob.  This canister comes in great vintage used condition.  It does show some signs of use with a chip and a flea bite on the rim as well as signs of use to the chrome and glass.  The label has faded writing on it that I cannot read.  It measures roughly 6 inches tall not including the lid and 5.5 inches in diameter on the top rim and 6 inches in diameter on the bottom.  Please see all pictures as they serve as part of the description.  Probably from the 1940s or early 1950s this is a true vintage piece!  Will make a wonderful addition to any collection.  I haven't been able to find another like it!!  Thanks!!
