"The Doctor" Physicians MDs AMA 71 Yr Old Mint Vintage Stamp Block from 1947

Description

A beautiful collectible set of four U.S. postage stamps issued in 1947 to honor the Medical profession at the time of the 100th Anniversary of the American Medical Association.
This stamp design is based on "The Doctor", a painting by Luke Fildes which depicts a doctor at a makeshift bedside of a small child with concerned parents in the background.
These stamps have never been used and are as fresh as they were the day they were first sold at the post office over 70 years ago! Suitable for framing, they would make a great gift for your favorite doctor or coworker.
